Thoughts on Sit-In Reenactment

The most profound thing that I occurred in the museum was watching reenactment video of the four men the day before they were about to participate in the sit-ins on January 31, 1960. The entire group was unsure about the consequences that they would face after but they went with their gut to change the world and make a mark in history. They took a chance risking severe consequences just by sitting at a lunch counter. As a group, they voted to determine whether they would all do it together. Everyone agreed, but it was not just to sit in lunch counter section but to stand up for their rights and freedom
