Today I had the pleasure of
meeting Catherine Burks Brooks who was a freedom rider during the Civil Rights
Movement. I absolutely loved her energy along with the other civil rights
activist that came to talk to us today and if there is one thing that I can
walk away with is that I'm the they. The activists said that our generation
needs to make change. They said that if I want to see something happen, I can't
depend on someone else to do it. I have to come from me and I completely agree.
