Today we continue the journey in Alabama with Birmingham, We met Catherine Brooks one of the Freedom Riders.Mrs.Brooks shared her story of that exact day of her movement along with a nice southern lunch.What I took away from Mrs.Brooks was her sense of humor and her fearless ways and attitude.I realize that fear with hinder you more than any authority in the world,so to not have such a negative force in your space you can accomplish anything and feel real good about it.We begin to head down to Mississippi to have dinner with a man who marched on the 3rd day named Roscoe Jones,and what I took from him was it isn't our fault but we still have time to make a change because there's a lot of work to do.Throughout the day we had wonderful food and a beautiful conversation.
